You can use MC/VISA via our secure online shopping, or by phone, email, or US mail by providing name on credit card, account #, expiration date, CID # (3 digit # on signature strip on back of card), billing address, and shipping address, if different than billing. Phone number and/or email address must be provided. PayPal is not accepted.
Illinois residents add 6.6% sales tax to checks or money orders; it will be added automatically on MC/VISA transactions.
Actual amount billed to your account on international VISA/MC transactions will vary depending on the currency exchange rate at time of processing.
Returned checks are subject to a $25 processing fee charged by our bank.
Paid orders ship 1st come/1st served next business day (if MC/VISA, based upon successful processing).
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for authorization & return for exchange at customer's expense within 10 days of receipt. Models returned for exchange must be in original, unshown condition as received, including receipt and all original packaging & documentation. Should the replacement not meet your expectations, we will gladly refund the sales price (excludes all shipping costs) upon return of the model as above, less a 20% restocking fee.
Items purchased in person are not eligible for return or refund.
Test, bisque, and other unique items offered, promotional items, and “as-is” discounted 2nds are not eligible for return or refund. Discounted 2nds & as-is pieces do not come with authenticity or other documentation & may be marked as 2nds.

We've chosen our manufacturer and guest artists with proven quality track records. All pieces are inspected. As our pieces are entirely hand assembled & painted, due to the process, minor variations in paint, pigment, molding and finish may occur, as well as stilt marks from support during firing. These are considered characteristics of true fired fine porcelain and are not considered defects or detrimental.
Unlike cold-painted plastics or resins, fired pieces may exhibit tiny black or white specks, lighter shades along ridge lines, small surface irregularities and other variations that are due to the process, characteristic, and not considered defects or detrimental.
Due to the process of being burned in fire & the use of special glazes which are intended to become molten during firing, Raku "Art of Fire" pieces may exhibit colors that appear different depending on light & angle, texture, gouges & scrapes, imbedded char or other material picked up from the burning materials themselves, or glaze coverage inconsistencies that are not considered detrimental or flaws, but as characteristics and hallmarks of authentic fired ceramic Raku art pieces.
It is recommended that all cleaning of Lakeshore Collection pieces be done with a clean, soft dry cloth, or one that has been dampened with a mild soap & water solution. Dry promptly. Use of harsh chemicals or many household cleaners can alter the appearance of fine fired finishes and cleaning using other than recommended methods voids any warranty.

Neither The Lakeshore Collection, Ltd. or any agent, representative, associate or employee thereof, shall be held responsible for any loss beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, theft, water, flood, accidents, injuries, errors, omissions, or actions by others, but will take reasonable care to protect customers from such loss. Live Show Award Sponsorship Program
The Lakeshore Collection, Ltd. will donate free custom ribbons, rosettes & cloisonne pins as awards for NAN Qualifying Lakeshore specific & exclusive Halter (OF Breed, OF Collectibility, CMG Breed, CMG Workmanship) classes & divisions.
A generically printed supply of flats 1st-6th & grand/reserve rosettes will be stocked with "Lakeshore Collection" and "1st, 2nd, Grand/Reserve Champion", etc., and gold/black & silver/black metal enamel cloisonne pins for division champs/reserves, all with the elegant intertwined LS gold logo. They cannot be customized to include the name of a specific show.
Lakeshore awards will not be provided for, nor can they be used for non LS specific classes or divisions or classes that would not be NAN qualifying such as fun or challenge classes. Awards will be provided according to final, official LS class lists on file or on websites at least 2 months before show date; there is a strong preference that the LS classes be included on initial submission for NAMHSA approval. (NAMHSA sanctioning requirement waived for overseas shows.)
We can work with you, using your proposed china classlist, what you know about popularity of various molds in your area (and there really ARE geographic differences), and using our Lakeshore by state data and be delighted to help tweak to help prevent imbalanced class sizes for a more successful and competitive show.
There are more savings for shows, as sometimes you can cut the number of "Other Brand" china breed classes once the LS’s are pulled out! For instance, if you were planning on having both Morgan and Other Pure/Mix Light classes, once all the LS Gonzales "Miz Charismas" are pulled out of the "Other Brand" division, you might only need the Other Pure/Mix Light class. In the interest of time, it frequently works out neutral with the same overall number of china classes.
So if you are holding a show and would like to increase your entrant participation and save money, and are interested doing both by adding some Lakeshore-specific classes or a division, just drop a line at the "Contact Us/Join Mail List" link.
Terms of Use: LS reserves the right to modify program at its sole discretion and retains all approval rights. Void where taxed, prohibited or regulated. Approved shows are responsible for sending a reminder appx. 6 weeks before show; awards ship appx. 1 month before show. LS will not have awards customized for any one show. Shows receiving other donations or sponsorships from LS/Cindy Neuhaus are excluded from the free award program, though they may be purchased at cost + s/h from Lakeshore. Neither LS nor any agent thereof is responsible for lost or misdirected mail or loss of any type. Only advertised (newspaper, internet, news group, website, flyers, and/or newsletter/magazine are acceptable) live shows and Lakeshore-specific NAN qualifying breed, collectibility and similar classes/divisions are eligible. If LS-specific classes or divisions for which awards have already been received are cancelled prior to day of show, holder is responsible for returning them in good, reusable condition at their own expense.
Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions
Gift certificates should be spent within 12 months of issue date, which is the "expires" date on the gift certificate.
Gift certificates may only be redeemed directly by The Lakeshore Collection, Ltd., and are not redeemable through any dealer, retailer, or any other third party. Gift certificates are only redeemable for inventory items, including limited editions, special runs, and Art of Fire pieces stocked by The Lakeshore Collection, Ltd., and may not be used to purchase gift certificates.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund or reversal of credit card charges.
If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay the balance.
Gift certificates must be presented at the time of purchase. If you wish to redeem a gift certificate in conjunction with an on-line or phone order and are paying by check or money order, deduct the amount of the gift certificate from your total due and mail payment for the balance. If you wish to redeem a gift certificate for an on-line or phone order and are paying by credit card, the gift certificate must be mailed to The Lakeshore Collection, Ltd. Upon receipt, your credit card will be billed only for any balance due, and your order will not ship until your credit card is billed.
Customer is responsible for any delivery charges and/or sales taxes, which are calculated on the full purchase price of the item(s), and/or item count, not net balance due after application of face value. Title passes to customer upon our delivery to a common carrier.
Gift certificate cash value is 1/10 of one cent. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates or errors or omissions. We have the right to request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained or counterfeit gift certificate is redeemed.
